It's been a while since I wrote anything so I thought I'd make a quick post. Things are going well, overall, in Korea. I've been spending a lot of time with Trash and her family which has been nice. I even spent a Friday night at their house making kimchi. Wedding plans are coming together, and February 28th is quickly approaching. I'm very happy that Ric will officially be traveling to Korea to be my best man. Also, we have officially set the date for our reception in Pennsylvania. It will be at my parents church, Morning Star Fellowship, on March 15th. We'll be arriving in PA the day before the wedding and staying for 2 weeks after. I'm really looking forward to that. We've set up a webpage for people to check out and get all the info they need concerning our wedding. That's about it for now.

- I'm 27, and I'm pretty sure my entire life has been one long transitional period. What exactly am I transitioning into? If you figure that out, let me know. I went to two separate Universities to study Secondary Education and ended up with a BA in History and no teaching certificate. During university, I worked in the Christian Camping industry every summer and then worked full time as a Head Counselor/Outdoor Education Teacher at said camp for three years. Then I spent a few months in my home town waiting tables and landscaping. Now I live in South Korea and teach English. I'll be here at least until Spring '09. What comes after that? Who knows? I'm weighing a lot of options right now. Maybe I'll actually start some sort of a career by the time I'm thirty...or maybe I'll just head in some completely different direction again.

does Trash's fam speak english? you talk in korean only to them? to her? curious. how about a blog post about the cross cultural factors of an international wedding. good reading, that. take care, mate. hope the planning is going well...
