Ready...Aim...FIRE!!

Last weekend was a three day weekend. it was fantastic. Saturday and Sunday were both pretty mellow. Saturday I went to Hongdae. I didn't go to any shows though. There just weren't any that I was interested in. Sunday, I was lazy most of the day and then went to church with Trash.

Monday was the exciting day. I went to Ilsan (a suburb of Seoul) to visit Morgan and Bomi at their place. We went to Lafesta and The Western Dom, the biggest outdoor shopping complex in Korea. It wasn't an outdoor market. It actually felt like a Western style mall. It was pretty cool. We wanted to see Iron Man at the Imax, but the only available seats were in the front 4 rows. Anyone who's been to an Imax knows that would have been terrible.

Since we couldn't make it to the movie, we went out to eat. We dined at the wonderful Grill One. It was about $25 for all you can eat steak, pasta, salad and fried rice...I had 5 steaks. My body has felt completely out of wack ever since then, but it was totally worth it.

Next, we met Ryan and just started walking around. Morgan notice a big banner with a gun on it so we went into the building to explore. We found Ilsan Shooting Club. When you walk in, you're greeted by beautiful Asian girls in black suits. They give you a "menu" that is basically pictures of all the different handguns you can choose to shoot. Plus, there is a HUGE mural on the wall of a black dude with a big smoking handgun. The whole setup was pretty surreal. It was kind of expensive ($10 for 10 shots), but it was just fun being able to shoot guns in Korea. Even cops don't have guns here! Soon after we got to the club, Trash called to say she was nearby. Bomi went to get her, and Trash got to not only see a real gun for the first time. She got to shoot it. It was awesome, and she did pretty well. I'm going to take her hunting in the States someday. Haha.

After shooting, we walked around beautiful Lake Park for a while. It was really nice. Then, we headed home and called it a day. I was exhausted, but it was a great day :)

It feels good to hold a gun again
